James is the current Managing Director of Triad Architects. He became a director in 1988 and has been with the firm for the last 32 years. He is mostly involved in design and management of commercial projects and office blocks. James is also the head of human resource in the firm.
He is a Fellow of the Architectural Association of Kenya, the highest rank given to respected architects in Kenya. He holds Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Nairobi.
His focus lies more on operation systems hence has been very instrumental in ISO Certification of the firm. In fact he was the director in charge of the process of obtaining and the four revisions of the title since 2004.

This has positioned Triad ahead of the profession in quality, design and client satisfaction in all projects undertaken ensuring that Triad’s skill-set ranks itself in the global platform as a competitive practice in Africa and beyond.” explains James.
As the MD together with the other directors, he wants to ensure that competitive capacity is maintained and the succession plan of recruiting young architects by developing talent and leadership continues in the future to guarantee stability and continuity of the firm. He is also keen in career development programme ongoing at Triad.
James also prides in the quality professionalism from the alumni nurtured in Triad and now making great impact in the industry.
