Charles joined Triad in April 1995 fresh from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He became a partner in 2004 and the finance director in 2009.

As the director in charge of finances, his roles involve managing all the financial aspects of Triad to ensure that the company works on all projects profitably. He is also involved in the IT department of the firm in ensuring that they are up-to-date with the technology being applied in the industry as well as acquiring the best and latest design softwares.

Like every other director in the firm, Charles also is a project director to particular clients especially for commercial and housing projects.
“The journey has been exciting and the results are our testimony. Triad’s projects have been awarded severally, for instance , we have won three gold awards on structural innovation of the Car and General showroom, institutional and office building for Margaret Thatcher Library in Moi University and institutional complexes excellence in architecture Gold award and two bronze awards on recreation of Mpata Club and residential of Longonot place.

At Triad also, I have gained exposure to trends and dynamics in the industry by working for international clients with foreign firms on diverse projects both in Kenya and the region. This is an opportunity to learn how the regional markets operate and how to work on different budgets in different economies whilst profiting the firm.” explains Charles.

Charles also has a keen eye on details and as a partner in the firm, he would like to see the technical ability of the firm reinforced. He confirms that Triad is quite busy at the moment, a gesture of a promising future.
