Mega Health Insurance Brokers has entered into partnership with the Architectural Association of Kenya (Architects Chapter). The two signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the AAK offices at Blue Violets Plaza on Wednesday, 18th April 2018.
The partnership, which is part of the membership benefits scheme, will see the Chapter members’ exclusively access negotiated insurance packages that are not available to individual consumers.
In his opening remarks, the registrar of the Architects’ Chapter, Architect George Arrabu acknowledged Mega Health stating the importance of the partnership to the Chapter.
The insurance intermediary which started off as a franchise of AAR in 2009 had only been offering medical insurance covers until the year 2012 when they transitioned into independent insurance agents with the competitive advantage of receiving premiums on behalf of insurance companies which are remittable within fourteen working days. The company has recently incorporated professional indemnity and workmanship compensation among other covers.
Speaking during the signing of the MoU, the Director of Mega Health Insurance Brokers, Beatrice Ngode traced the firm’s journey over the years. She also mentioned some of their clients including the Law Society of Kenya and the Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya.
In the near future, Mega Health Insurance Brokers will be launching a product called E-Wallet, an automatic smart card aimed at returning premiums that may not be utilized by the members in partnership with Madison Insurance Company. Another additional service that the Insurance brokers will be providing is negotiable prices and products for their customers.
Anchored on strong core values of excellence and reliability, Mega Health promises its clients that no matter the issue they will always be there.
Mega Health plans to conduct brief public engagements where they will be able to educate, interact and promote themselves to the public in order to deliver the best services to their clients.
The occasion was marked with ribbon cutting and a cake. BUILDesign Magazine was the official media partner at the event.
