Galaxy Paints and Coatings cocktail

Galaxy Paints and Coatings limited is a force to reckon with in the field of Construction, Having sustained fifty years of dominion in the built and natural environment the organization continues to gain popularity for its high tech products.

Galaxy Paints and Coatings limited hosted a cocktail event at the Villa Rosa Kempisnki hotel on 7^th February 2017.The Event sought to bring together players in the built and natural environment in order to nurture future relationships.

In attendance were high profile personalities including Arch. Emma Miloyo, BORAQS Chairman Nathan Kureba and IQSK chairman QS .Andrew Mandere.

The Event was officiated by Galaxy paints and Coatings M.D, Mr. Iqbal Karmali who outlined the importance of using their coatings which included cost effectiveness and environmental friendly .Traits that we all desire for our coating solutions .He acknowledged the international partners present at the event whom Galaxy had partnered with order in order to provide customer satisfaction by availing unique products to the market.

Rubio Monocoat Channel Manager, Mr. Carel Steenkamp explained the South African wood finished Product Company history to the members upon which a discovery was made that the organization originated right from Kenya before it spread worldwide. He outlined the factors that made the product unique in that it was free from VLC a harmful chemical that is unfit for the environment as well as the molecular bonding factor a dual combination that makes it best suited for the environment. In his speech Mr. Carel also mentioned their achievements over the years.

Marmoran Coatings Sales Director, Mr. Mervyn Shabason explained his organizations mission statements as far as individual markets are concerned and the actions that they are taking in order to keep up with the growing competition acknowledging some of the projects that Marmoran was a part of  among them the hub Karen and M.w Makgoba Building.

‘’Competition is very healthy, Competition delivers value to the customer, Competitions leads to improvements of the products’’ sentiments echoed by IQSK  Chairman Andrew Mandere  as he congratulated them for maintaining standards in the Industry assuring them of IQSK partnership with Galaxy Paints and Coatings limited.

AAK President Architect Emma Miloyo stated the contribution of the Construction Industry to the gross domestic product of the country as per statistics conducted in the previous year encouraging members to come out in large numbers and support each other. Galaxy being born at the same time with Galaxy the president assured them of their support all through the way.

Board of registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors Arch. Nathan Kureba emphasized on the importance of teaming up and identifying a niche market in order to survive in a competitive world he also congratulated galaxy for their revival and for teaming up with international coating solutions.

After a series of speeches a question and answer session was conducted where the members present were able to interact with the two presenters.

This was followed by a vote of thanks from Galaxy Paints and Coatings limited Marketing Executive Shahzia Ebrahim.
