The Export Promotion Council in collaboration with the World Bank undertook a study on “Assessment of Kenya’s Export Potential and Supply Capacities in Selected Professional Services Sectors.” The study focused on the following services sectors with high export potential:-
- Professional Services: Accountancy, Architecture, Engineering, Information Communications Technology/Information Technology Enabled Services (ICT/ITES), and Legal Services
- Business Services: Business Process Outsourcing Services
- Financial Services: Insurance and Non-banking Financial services
- Transport Services: Freight Forwarding Services
A dissemination forum to for the findings of the study in Nairobi will be held on 20th May 2010 at the Sarova Panafric Hotel from 8.00am to 1.00pm. A subsidized participation fee of Kshs 500 will be charged to cater for snacks, lunch and seminar materials.
The forum targets Kenyan professional services exporters and business support organizations in the following categories:
