Several palatial homes came crushing down as the ministry of roads embarked on a fresh round of demolitions in Kitisuru and Spring Valley areas in Nairobi on houses said to have been erected on road reserves. Roads minister Franklin Bett said the owners of the houses had been given due notice even as the shocked owners cried foul. Andrew Ochieng reports.
